Know Before You Go

What is a passport?
You can get into SeaQuest with a single day passport or an annual passport. The single day passport is valid for a single day of admission into SeaQuest, while the annual passport let's you visit SeaQuest for an entire year! Passports are available for purchase online or in-store. If you aren't sure that you want to commit to an annual passport before you visit SeaQuest for the first time, it's okay! You can credit your daily passport purchase toward an annual membership on the day of your visit, simply visit our guest services reps at the gift shop or at the admission counter before you leave.
What is a feeding token?
Visiting SeaQuest enables you to touch and interact with hundreds of animals! You can elevate their experience by purchasing feeding tokens to get even more personal with the animals. There are many opportunities to feed the animals throughout your quest, and you will find snack stations that take 1 token to dispense food. Some animal interactions require more than one token, so 2-3 tokens per person is a good number to get started. Keep in mind that the more tokens you buy, the less you pay per token. In addition, you can use tokens at concessions, with the mermaids, or for other activities, and they never expire, so you can use them on your next visit.
What animals will I see?
SeaQuest is home to approximately 1200 animals of 300 different species! Each SeaQuest has different animals, and our animals change from time to time. You can expect to see stingrays, sharks, turtles, snakes, lizards, and birds, among the many animals that call SeaQuest home. Check out the "Discover" section of the website for the location you plan to visit and learn more about the exhibits and animals you can expect to find.
What are other things I should know?
Most of our facilities have aviaries. The birds in the aviaries are not "house trained" so these birds will sit on your head, shoulders, arms, legs, and even jump near your shoes. As a result, you may leave with some poop on yourself or your clothes. Also, you can touch fish, stingrays, sharks and other sea animals at SeaQuest. They may splash and you may get a little wet in the process of getting your hand in the tank, so be ready. Finally, all of our animals are very cute and adorable, however there is a proper way to interact. Always listen to the SeaQuest team members when they give directions for interacting, and remember to use a two finger touch to pet from the neck down their back.
